Gla Gla Shoes, French self-ventilated shoes

Glagla International is a French company based in Nancy that works on connected clothing, with a strong focus on shoes. You might know them from Digitsoles, the world first connected soles that buzzed at CES 2015.

The Brand is launching its new shoes, called Gla Gla.

The Nancy-based company GLAGLA INTERNATIONAL offers today to reinvent the shoes.

In addition to high comfort and weight criterias (the Gla Gla weight around 170 grams, making it one of the lightest shoe on the market), these new shoes want to tackle a common problem (already targeted by Digitsole, another product from Karim Oumnia): the temperature of your feet!

Thus, these sneakers introduce a new concept, called self-ventilation. This might ask you a bit of adaptation, but comfort is waiting at the corner. Thanks to this new concept, the inside temperature is reduced by 6°C (42,8°F), allowing a decrease of sweat by 50%. The brand thought about runners, proposing machine-washable shoes that dry quickly thanks to the use of Mesh textiles.

The only thing to know is whether its design, far from concepts from Adidas, Puma and others, will make its way to the consumer’s baskets.

Sold at a 89€ price, that is to say among the least expensive sneakers pairs of its competitors (From Geox to Nike), conceived in France, the Gla Gla shoes are definitely a new actor to follow.
